I have some more speculation on Misfortune.gb, this time it's the other two music tracks. We do know that the first music track is the music that plays during the levels while the player is solving puzzles, and the other is for the Game Over screen. I'm guessing that the third track is used for later levels, or is used during the parts of the game where the Devil is chasing you. The fourth track may be an ending theme, or another form of level music that plays when you're close to the end of the game. Tracks 3 or 4 could also be some kind of jingle or fanfare.

It's really hard to type in the message box for commenting in the Guestbook, because the text is the same colors as the textbox's background! I have to keep highlighting the text I type to make sure it's correct...
Anyway, I was also wondering, wherever Misfortune.gb gets it's visual resources from, do you think it's possible to provide a tileset sheet containing the known graphics used in Misfortune.gb judging from the screenshots or from what people remember seeing? I do know that, well, Misfortune.gb borrows stuff from other games, but it would be nice to know what exact ones it does and doesn't use, and it would make a great addition to the Resources page on this website.

I was watching some kind of gameplay video on YouTube (The video is called "misfortune.gb gameover date 14-02-03") and I noticed that the sound used for the option confirming is from Bust-A-Move 2 Arcade Edition for Gameboy. I'm positive the video is somewhat fake though. For example, the fade-outs/ins aren't possible on a real Gameboy/Gameboy Color. Although I'm thinking that there could be more games that Misfortune.gb gets it's resources from...
